Abstract

This article examines the impact of work-related stress on the productivity of two companies in Bogotá D.C. A survey was conducted with twenty-four (24) employees to assess organizational climate and stress levels, aiming to gain a deep understanding of how employees perceive their work environment. This survey was selected for its effectiveness in data collection, allowing participants to respond quickly and uniformly to the questions. To ensure greater relevance and accuracy, the survey was conducted anonymously, fostering honesty in responses—an essential factor in identifying both areas for improvement and positive aspects within the organization. The data collected serves as a foundation for informed decision-making aimed at improving the work environment and overall employee well-being. Understanding these dimensions is essential, as it allows us to identify organizational factors that may be detrimental to employee well-being and, consequently, to the company’s overall performance.
